In wave 2 the ships coming down from the NW are too fast and/or too many.
You're so low in HP all you can do is draw their fire so one of the transports makes the exit to end the game. There's NO fun in killing the last wave of ships and the 3 BBs because you almost NEVER have enough players with enough HP to accomplish it. You usually get past the Red Escort kills for starting the last wave, it's ends up just 2, maybe 3 people left that (yawn) just have to get the transports to the circle without any chance of killing all 3 BBs. And even if you do get a real good team and win the OP still stinks. Yes, you get bad teams on other OPs the same as Aegis and you get fails, but AEGIS is by FAR more likely to fail. This problem is not nearly as prevalent on the other OPs.
If you just happen to get a team that has a lot experience! But before you say, "You're just getting bad teams, luck of the draw." NO, that's not it and I've been playing long enough to know the difference. There are a few OPs that could use some improvement but every single one of them are really fine and acceptable the way they are, except AEGIS! It is absolutely horrible.Ĭan it be won? Yes of course.
